This policy explains the browser technologies Lotu uses, and how you can control optional analytics cookies.
Last updated: 13 August 2026Lotu uses strictly necessary cookies to run the service. Google Analytics is optional and remains disabled until you accept it. You can reject analytics cookies or change your choice at any time.
Authentication and security flows use session and state cookies from Auth.js and Amazon Cognito. Lotu also uses a signed edux-guest-id cookie to protect guest access, and a short-lived logout cookie to complete sign-out. These are not used for advertising or behavioural analytics.
The lotu_cookie_preferences cookie records your cookie choice for 180 days so we can respect it. It is required to remember the choice you make here.
If you accept Analytics cookies, Lotu loads Google Analytics to understand aggregated use of the website and platform. Google Analytics may set cookies whose names begin with _ga. Lotu does not load the Google Analytics script or send Analytics events until you choose to accept this category.
If you withdraw consent, Lotu stops future Analytics events and attempts to clear _ga cookies on the current host. Your existing choice can be changed using Cookie settings above.
Lotu stores your appearance preference locally as lotu-theme. Other browser storage used by feature results, drafts, or classwork is under a separate privacy review and is not reclassified by this Cookie Policy.
